Wayne plays the stranger who arrives in town and soon finds out that something fishy is going on and it involves him. Well shot and wonderfully acted, Wayne plays the classic cool but tough cowboy that wins through right and might. Ella Raines plays his love interest perfectly and looks amazingly beautiful. More plot than your average western and some things get glossed over, but it wraps up nicely.
