"Everyone should see this movie" raves the New York Times. A sharp and funny comedy about a group of African American students as they navigate campus life and racial boundaries at a predominantly white college. A sly, provocative satire about being a black face in a white place.

the movie is more about black identity and fitting in their own community than anything else. to that end, it's pretty interesting to see how different black people feel about each other and themselves i didn't see anything remotely offensive; if you're white and gave the title the side-eye, there's nothing really in here controvertial, really. the movie is mostly about black insecurity and how they perceive each other

Loved the movie. Definitely watch this movie if you haven’t. Keep an open mind, if you get offended take that as a sign.

Don’t waste even a .99 cent rental on this “satire” that shows the extreme double standard of racism in the USA. Only in USA could you have a movie titles this and make it to the movies.

This movie is not what I expected, and I mean that in a good way. It’s about black students trying to find their way in a predominantly white college. A lot of it is satire, but it makes some serious statements about financial class, relations between white and black students, prejudice and stereotypes without beating you on the head. I really enjoyed this movie. And now I’m ready to dive into the series on Netflix.
  • Nothing like a good racist title...

Talk about perpetuating animosity. Can you imagine a movie called Dear Black People? Stupid.
  • A racist film

A film full of racism but it’s acceptable to media because white people are the butt of all jokes. Typical these days and pretty pathetic
