Description

Dr. Michael Cayle thought leaving the chaotic lifestyle of New York City behind for the quiet, small town of Ashborough would bring his family closer together. Cut off from all means of escape, Michael must either live under the threatening control of the creatures, or risk losing his wife and daughter.

This movie had all the stuff for a great H.P. Lovecraft sort of doom-fest. They had Dean Stockwell in it!!! But it felt like the Director/Producer didn’t get it… or perhaps any sense to the story was left on the cutting room floor. Either way, I kept hoping that some sort of momentum would appear, and instead, it was just annoying. So many questions never addressed, so many pointless events…I give up!!

A complete bore and not worth the time or money.
  • Creepy film that builds to pure horror

The film starts off feeling uneasy and builds to a horrifying finale! Sean Patrick Thomas is wonderful and I loved seeing Dean Stockwell as the creepy neighbor. Blanche Baker and the kid playing Tyler have some fun scenes. And I loved the isolates!

Interesting premise, story fell apart a few times, and some useless characters and subplots but my god, now I know what bad acting is. I have read lots of reviews here with folks calling out shoddy acting. This movie is the gold standard.
