It's an eye opening movie showing families who have two parents compared to families with one parent while having comedy

I’d also like to point out that while many are criticizing how it was “boring” or “lacked drama” I believe it was because that was not Tyler Perry’s intent. He didn’t want to have people sitting on the edge of their sittings waiting to see what these five sing moms were going to do next. He made it so that people could sit back and say “That’s something I would do” or “I resemble this character a lot because…” This movie wasn’t listed under drama for a reason. It’s a sentimental comedy. However, I cannot speak on behalf of Tyler Perry’s intentions.

If you actually read these reviews to decide, I wouldn't let Tyler Perry haters get in your way. If you love dramas, you'll love this movie!

I’ve had more significant drama waiting in line to pay my electric bill than this movie has to offer. This movie needed its cast the same way a fish needs a bicycle. I must wonder whether people were paid to rate this film 5 stars: not even self-proclaimed chick-flick devotees had the slightest interest in this movie, and those that were taken to the movie that I talked with hated it, saying the characters lacked credibility in all aspects. There’s nothing redeeming, edifying, or uplifting about this movie before the end credits. Definitely a movie in the “to miss” category.

It was o.k...surprised that Tyler Perry took alot of short cuts on this one. This was wrapped up in too many bows with sugar on top. I kept waiting for more from each of the characters situations...it really didn't seem real. Maybe there were too many single moms in this movie that there wasn't any time to really dive into each character or life situation. It was very surface...no depth. I kept expecting the situations to have real dialogue and REAL LIFE outcomes like in his movie.."Why did I get Married?" It was just o.k.
