Unbelievable indie flick, Martin Weisz should've had no recognition for this film. Really enjoyed saw it on a plane and came home and bought it!!!! GABRIELLA WILDE!!!! Olivia who??? BRAVO!!!!

Wow-what a good movie!

I think Squatters has done a lovely job of giving us a unique story line filled with interesting characters. It was really well cast with Luke Grimes (as Michael) and Thomas Dekker (as Jonas) in particular really coming off of the screen. Richard Dreyfuss was beautifully nuanced in his role - it's always amazing seeing these mature actors able to do so much with those moments between their lines. I would have liked to have seen more from Gabriella Wilde, but I think her character was supposed to be restrained and conflicted and she did a great job here in a push-me/pull-you role. Squatters is more of a character study punctuated with some action and some surprising plot twists that will keep you engaged until the end. As a side bar, it's also a love note to LA with beautiful shots of the city and its environs. Director Martin Weisz did a great job of giving us a view into a place whose heart beats with individuals that struggle to find their way, to mend broken lives no matter if they are homeless on a beach or look out over the sea from an expansive balcony. And writer Justin Shilton gave the viewer characters doing their best to show up and survive in their versions of a broken world. You'll not be sorry if you watch it.

I loved this film. I think Gabriella Wilde is amazing. One of my new favorites :-)

Surprised this didn’t make it to theaters. Such a great movie!!

I really enjoyed it. And its better if you watch it without watching the trailer. That's what I did.
