  • A great film bogged down by a lackluster conclusion

I loved this movie up until the last 20 minutes; the fights were brutal, the women were great actors, and the villains were devious. Although the reasoning behind the whole thing was a bit weak, it made for some great entertainment. Then, the movie takes the cliched turn and everything goes downhill. It could have ended in a wave of carnage, with everyone getting their just desserts. Instead, it fizzles to a whimper, almost as if the filmmakers were tired of the carnage, but only when it was against men. A movie that starts out so brutal, ends up being just another exploitation of women. Fun, but heavily flawed. You have been warned.

This is no cute little woman in prison movie. This is nasty. These fights are brutal and often times hard to watch. This movie would still be hard to stomach if it were men, and seeing woman in these situations makes it all the more difficult. Not your mommas chick flick. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!

This movie was a full on experience from start to finish! Awesome cast of ladies, Zoe Bell was outstanding and designed for that role! The fight scenes were really well done, brutal and believable! A must watch!

This movie is beyond amazing. Tracie Thoms performance was one of the best I've seen. The entire cast did an awesome job. This movie is now one of my favorites.

Two words: beat that! Epic hand to hand fights. The up close and personal feel of them makes them real and emotional, let alone the almost all female cast fighting to the death to save their family. I loved the silent strength of Tracy Thoms. Zoë Bell truly stands out in this film. Fighting wise she is right at home and takes no prisoners, literally. As an actress she brings it with no holds barred!!
