Before Marv Albert and Bob Costas, there was Marty Glickman. A Jewish-American athlete who was robbed of a chance to run the 400-meter relay in Berlin in 1936, Glickman went on to become a pioneering sportscaster. He voiced newsreels, called thousands of pro, college and high-school games and shaped sports programming for more than 50 years--setting the gold standard for sports broadcasters past, present and future. In addition to Albert and Costas, interviews include: Mike Breen, Larry King, Bill Bradley, Jim Brown, Frank Gifford, Jerry Stiller, David Stern, and many more.
