Whether you love or hate the ending, this film is fascinating to watch. It's made incredibly well; the pieces fit together beautifully. It's both emotional and thought-provoking.

This is a very complicated movie, with a complicated story line, extremely well done and simply told. All the actors, young and old, did an outstanding job. If the movie does one thing better than another; it's the fortelling of why Jared Leto would win an Oscar some four years later in 2013.

These are the thoughts I have every day. I love when a brilliant mind puts it into action… not to be cocky! Great mind-bending depiction of the possibilities of our strange chaotic Universe.

Did the concept of "Sliding Doors" need to be recycled? The idea was covered very adeptly in 1998.
  • Jared Leto Is Brilliant

Jared Leto delivers a truly staggering performance. Leto brilliantly portrays 3 completely different versions of "Nemo" each from age 18-124 years old and he does so with extraordinary detail and subtle, heart-wrenching depth. This is a smart, non-linear film that beautifully explores the butterfly effect, parallel universes and the idea of soul mates with both astonishing visuals and brutally honest, intimate conversations. This movie will provoke expanded thinking and interesting conversations. It's a shame there were problems with the film's distribution, therefore making Jared Leto ineligible for award consideration. I highly recommend this film.

This film goes beyond the "What if I had..." that we all ask ourselves. What if I had done that, or pursued a different career. What if she and I had gotten married, what would my life look like? If we're honest, we all wonder at times, but usually don't have the time to flesh out our wondering. Nemo, does. In this film it explores a very real, honest portrayal of a young man's difficult life, and the deep exploration of different crossroads. I could relate. If you are willing to approach this movie without preconceived notions of what you want it to be, you might realize it's a fantastic film. You cannot tell a story like this with a typical story arch, so don't expect one. But even without the typical arch, it keeps you intrigued and wanting to know what happens next. Beautiful, touching, fantastic acting, real life themes, and told with high production value. And yes, as apposed to some of the other reviews, it does tell you which life was the real one, and leaves you satisfied. The good movies really don't make it in theaters do they.
  • Fantastic Film

Though occasionally confusing due to the intentionally nonlinear narrative, Mr. Nobody is an excellent film. It is in many respects what Cloud Atlas tried and failed to be.
  • A more complex butterfly effect!

Excellent script! The characters in the movie were brought to life with such personable personalities. I haven’t seen a movie this meticulous in terms of details in a very long time. I will recommend this movie to many of my friends/family.
