Description

Duncan’s (Ken Marino) mounting stress starts to trigger an insufferable gastrointestinal reaction. Out of ideas and at the end of his rope, Duncan seeks the help of a hypnotherapist, who helps him discover the root of his unusual stomach pain: a pint-sized demon living in his intestine that, when triggered by excessive anxiety, forces its way out and slaughters the people who have caused Duncan stress. Out of fear that his intestinal gremlin may target its wrath on the wrong person, Duncan attempts to befriend it, naming it Milo and indulging it to keep its seemingly insatiable appetite at bay.

This one caught me off-guard. I was expecting it to be super-cheap and schlocky given the premise, but saw it because of Marino anyways. I literally have now seen it 3x, and can't stop laughing. Bizarre and outrageous, but hilarious. Laugh-out-loud funny...
  • Not as bad as you might imagine

I decided I was ready to watch the colon monster movie I had been eyeing for a few weeks now. I was really on the fence with this one as you might imagine; the premise being so "out there". But really, I sincerely liked this movie. It's funny and bizarre and somehow manages to have heart. You have to be a genius to make a movie this strange and good at the same time. I love that the monster is old school puppetry/animatronics. Its a throw back to the days of Gremlins or other 80's movie monsters which I love. Obviously this movie isn't for everyone but if you like a little twisted humor spiked with your horror then this is for you. It is quite possible this movie with be a classic in its own right.

Bad Milo is funny, but not quite hilarious. It's a demented Gremlins, or like another review says, an E.T. Living in Ken Marino's colon. Strangely deep when it comes to dealing with daddy issues, which also leads to a predictable plot turn. Enjoyable enough, but not necessarily worth $10 just to rent.
  • Eh... I didn't even finish watching it

I guess they were trying to make a "good bad" movie, but I still thought it was crap. A funny part or two. Maybe gory comedy horror isn't my thing. But to each his own...

It's one of those movies where you're a little ashamed to admit how much you're laughing... But you are laughing the whole time.
