No words, watch it, take it in, and you will see why life is never worth taking advantage of. Even right here in great America, we all have devils running the streets .

The only problem I have with this is that upon doing some research on Chong Kim's story I could find no coorborating evidence that it ever happened. I mean can someone tell me where a single news story is located that refers to a Nevada Deputy US Marshal that was ever found murdered, or that had been linked to this story? Or that there is any evidence (other than Kim's story) that refers to the multiple murders, human trafficking, kidnappings, baby sales, or even an ongoing police investigation into this (what has to be a R.I.C.O. investigation). case.Don't get me wrong, I have always known that this has been going on in this country for years, and to clarify, I am a retired municipal police officer, But, I just can't find any reference to this anywhere. Kim has stated in past interviews that she had no interest in prosecuting anyone, but folks if just half of what she claims to be true actually happened, there would be at least an Organized Crime Drug Inforcement Taskforce Case in progress somewhere in the U.S. and there would be at least one independent news story releated to same, Other than Chong Kim's promotional stories. If this is just fiction...fine...but list it as such...like writers do with novels. I think it would still have a decent impact. The description of the movie being a "true story" just undermines it's intentions. If someone can correct me great! because I'd love to read the back story to this if indeed it is true...

Human trafficking stories are always better when they come from a real place like this one. I'll be recommending it to people.

This is not a easy watch if you care about the value of human life. It's deep, it's dark, and the villains are business people at the end of the day. You may want to rent this because it may be hard to watch again and again. I will say this though, if you have teens, I would show them this movie and talk about the themes it addresses.
  • WATCH THIS!!!

Truly this is a heart-wrenching film that shows the apathetic and disturbing nature many people in our society posess. The main actress is incredible in her story-telling and you begin to really feel for the characters as they adapt to the great character evolution which is necessary in any good movie. What is most frightening and yet amazing is the fact that it is a true story. This is a must see for anyone old enough for R rated films as it is both educational of the sex trade in our country and deeply entertaining as well. I was blown away!
