  • Moore's final Bond film in stunning 4K

In 1985, Roger Moore made his final appearance as James Bond 007 in A View to a Kill. While not a great entry in the series especially being heavily criticized for the actor looking too old for the role at 57, it still has enough good elements to make it an entertaining romp. The film also has a memorable performance from Christopher Walken as the psychotic Max Zorin, and Duran Duran's title track to this day remains the only Bond theme to reach #1 on the US Hot 100. For an average-looking 80s film, the 4K resolution looks incredible with eye-popping colors and clear-as-day detail. Fun recommendation.

James Bond has lied about his name in this movie. I do not know why, but it was good. I watched this movie with my dad last night before his birthday.
  • The Best of Bond and The worst of Bond

The Best of Bond Christopher Walken praised for portraying a "classic Bond villain.” Grace Jones is an icon. Her role as “Mayday” added a bit of fun to the movie. The Worst of Bond? The list would be so very long. The story is an original screenplay. even the title is an adaptation of Ian Flemming’s novel “From a View to a Kill.” The story lacked the typical “nothing better than Bond” excitement. Tanya Roberts was just “ok” as “Stacey Sutton.” There much better Bond movies “You Only Live Twice”(1967), On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969). Even Moonraker (1979) was a much better film.

This is not a good Bond movie. Mayday? Her name is Mayday? That is not even funny. This movie ranks just above License to Kill and Man with the Golden Gun as the worst Bond movies.

Well, first of all one of my favorite movies, I had on VHS for years. One thing I will mention about the qality of SD vs HD, i bought the SD for $4.99, and the quality is grate, everything looks real, very high def, the movie as micro lags in it, not perfect in playback, probly HD is ultra smooth, but if youve ever watched VHS tape, the SD quality looks like IMAX lol. So.........I wanted to buy another Bond Film, one from the 70's or 80's and now the price, is jacked up to $9.99, for SD, $14.99 for HD, Where it was $4.99/$9.99, wen I was a 'first time customer'. I wrote the company itunes a complaint letter and they replied with a generic no-answer reply, which just adds to my frustration and overall disappointment. First they monopolize the music and movie download scene on Apple products and then jack up the prices double after my first purchase. It seems like low integrity business practices to me, and am not happy about it, I am going to go elsewhere for my music and movie needs. There is no such thing as piracy of music and movies when there are predator companies like this around, and they dont seem to be bothered by having low quality policies. All they care about is money $$ and preying that everyone will succumb to itunes and pay outrageous prices, it is so wrong, I will be following up with them,, and the sad thing is, I was so happy after I bought and downloaded my first movie on my new ipad2. The movie is awesome in SD, iTunes is the lame one. One Star, and they dont even deserve that.

This was the very first Bond movie I ever saw as a kid, and probably still one of my top 3 favorite Bond films. Roger Moore is my favorite Bond, an this is probably his best movie playing Bond. Plus it has Christopher Walken in it, how can that be bad? I'll tell you, it's not.
