Did not enjoy this film at all. The narration portions are distracting from the story, the characters are people you do not connect to, and the constant lingering shots that make no sense leave you asking "why did they show that?" Beside good scenery shots, this movie was a laborious waste of time. Had a happy ending... that is, we were happy when it ended.

I loved it when I saw it on the big screen. Romantic, beautiful landscapes, interesting characters . . . you will enjoy!

Wish they would have gotten an Armenian actress for the lead. Her mannerisms were so strange and she was unpleasant to watch. As for the landscape, it is indeed beautiful, but anyone who has visited Armenia and Karabakh can tell you that the director missed the most amazing spaces and landscapes. I guess I am a tough critic because I know that this film could have been so much more.
