Act of Valor

Once you get around the fact US forces seem to have no problem entering soverign nations and killing their citizens, this is a pretty good flick - also quite interesting regarding spedcial ops.

Listened to the audiobook first, the movie is good but the audiobook has much more detail. Recommend both!

It seems like these military dramas are as predictable as ghetto movies. Rats would love this because it’s really cheesy.

I watched this movie, and it got applause at the end. And I read blogs where some individuals got upset over that. And you know what I say to that retort? Thank goodness people volunteer to join the armed forces. (I think the number is roughly 1 out of 147-150 civilians. That raise their hands to train, wear the uniform, and defend their country as their chain of command sets forth in its duties.) This movie was as realistic as a film could get in dealing with the military.

This was an amazing movie! Yes some of the acting dialog was not as smooth persay but it was real Seal team doing the movie! Spot on. Great job and honored the men and women of the military and and all they do to keep us safe. Thank you service members:)

This is a great movie. First and foremost a movie, yes, a movie. It is a heartfelt script with top notch acting and effects. I am proud of our armed forces. I am grateful that we as American citizens have the freedom we have. And it is because of our brave men and women whom serve our country. Act of valor is worth owning in your video library. Make your own decision. Don’t base movies on these so called critics. Because honestly, most of their poorly rated movies have been diamonds. And their highly rated movies have been bout mediocre. Cracks me up. Anyway Act of Valor is two thumbs way up. Enjoy!

Fantastic movie, with great action, and a good story line!

Love the fact that they used real Seals for this movie, very realistic and emotional.

I googled it after I watched the movie and I could not believe the “expert reviews” and their negativity. They complained about the plot and dialogue and how you don’t get the back stories of the brave men in the movie. I watched it with my son and we both loved it. Knowing that they were NOT actors and real SEALs made it even better. Yes, plots was predictable and dialogue a bit tight but these are real guys and not actors and that made me like it even more. Thanks NAVY guys. I would watch you over a Hollywood actor any day.
