Finally, a movie that isn’t just someone walking around with a handheld camera.

The pact is a very unique psychological thriller that starts out slow and quickly picks up the pace. It will keep audiences hooked and on the edge of their seats. You never know what to expect with horror films but this one certainly exceeded my expectations. It was pretty intense and scary. You never know what secrets are lurking inside your home waiting to be discovered...

We watched this movie and were pleasantly surprised. The cinematography was excellent, the story was really good and it had an old fashioned creepiness to it. It made my wife jump in a few spots…I liked this movie.

This film has a way of developing fear through the viewers imagination and sequences of complete silence. I absolutely love that! The ending itself was a little weak, but for an indie film it was great!

I have seen a lot of horror films; the good, bad, and the ugly. I think this particular film has some good scares, adequate acting, and in my eyes, a fairly unique storyline. Some important points are not expilicitly stated, but I am sure any viewer can pick up on them. I would reccomend it.

I went in with low expectations and by the end was amazed by how well this supernatural flick turned out.

I did not think this movie would be as good as it was. I saw everyone's ratings of it and they're rating is very lowly because "there's no plot," "the acting is bad," and "it's not scary." Well to me, this is one of the scariest movies I've seen in a while. The people who say it has no plot probably did not pay attention or were hoping that the plot would come out and slap them in the face. You have to THINK about it. The music in this movie was pretty freaky; it sounded like the music from Insidious. And what I really liked is that it was original. The ending was a little unoriginal, but the whole thing was pretty new to me, and I watch a lot of movies like this. There are a lot of jumps throughout, and they're not just scares that directors throw in because they can't think of anything better; these work very effectively. I highly recommend watching this movie, especially if you want to see a movie that will definitely haunt you. WARNING: IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS MOVIE YET, DON'T READ THE NEXT LINE. For all the people saying this movie sucked because it was basically a serial killer movie, please tell me how a serial killer can magically drag people around and how a serial killer can move things without touching them. Just because there is a serial killer in a movie does not automatically make it a serial killer movie. Did you not pay any attention to the ghost in the house? The killer did have a lot to do with the plot, but this movie does not focus completely around him.
