The Other F Word

Great flick!!So many of these guys have had some major negative occurrences in their lives from the loss of a child to the abandonment from their fathers.Arts story was very sad but at the same time he has risen above his hardships.Jim seems like a cool guy who really loves his family.........gotta admit to see Flea cry made me well up.Nice film guys this is one I will watch again and again.

Having been in a punk rock band for 10 years and a father of two young kids, I totaly related to this movie. After watching this, you might be less scared of the man with crazy hair holding a little kids hand. And more likely to say hi and find out your not that different.

If you're like me (30 something year old punk guy) you'll enjoy this film. Watching some of the punk icons of my youth grow up and into fatherhood was very interesting. I enjoyed watching their day to day juggling of both their career and family life. Seeing how they do it helped ease some of my fears of becoming a father myself.

THIS IS A PORTRAYAL OF SO MANY OF OUR LIVES . IF YOU WERE THERE DURING THIS ERA , AND WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO MAKE IT OUT ALIVE ? YOU WILL LOVE THIS MOVIE . THE CORDS STRUCK IN THIS MOVIE ARE NOT MUSICAL . THEY ARE LIFE CORDS THAT HIT YOU RIGHT IN THE HEART . GREAT JOB . JUST ONE QUESTION ? WHERE THE F… IS THE SOUND TRACK ?

Cast was amazing. Raw look at how family can be as rewarding as the debauchery of your youth. Pennywise driven with a supporting cast of nofx, bouncing souls and blink basically the cast of the warped tour in heaven.

I loved this movie! I've been playing punk for the past 20 years and have two kids, a boy 4 1/2 and a girl 1 1/2. To see how everybody changes is awesome. I still play. Not as much as I used to but nothing beats being on stage and looking up backstage and seeing my little boy pointing at me. He loves to go to my show so I play a lot more all ages shows. His first show was with my band and Fear. Rad!!!

Such a smart, funny, and thoughtful film. The punk rockers open their lives and hearts about the realities of life on the road, conflicting commitments to fans and family, and the surreal experience of raising kids. Watch it -- even if you don't know any of these particular musicians. Watch it now. Really.

If you are a genuine lover of punk rock music or the culture itself and also appreciate the importance of being a parent (whether you are one or not), this movie is definitely for you. If you hate punk rock music but enjoy the concept of people getting over issues with their parents despite resentment and anger in order to be better parents to their own children, this movie is still for you.
