Description

Ashley Greene (Twilight Saga) and Shiloh Fernandez (Red Riding Hood) co-star in this powerful coming-of-age drama that took the film festival circuit by storm. For Ritchie Wheeler (Fernandez), a carefree teenager growing up in a small Texas town, Skateland is more than just a local roller rink...it's a fading symbol of friendship and good times. Now, everything's changing and the only thing Ritchie can hang on to is his budding romance with the sweet and beautiful Michelle (Greene). But one fateful night will force Ritchie to face the future and make the most important decision of his life.

This movie is nothing but amazing and great. It's the best dram there is. There is no beating this. Although it is obviously a low budget movie due to the camera work and sound it is still a really good movie.I was expecting a great movie and that is exactly what i got.

do yourself a big favor and don't waste your time on this film. The acting was horrible, there was no plot and therefore no connection to the characters. Nice try ripping off "Dazed and Confused'. not even close. sucked.

I grew up at a "Skateland" and the idea of a movie about a skating rink was just......Well I had to see it. I really enjoyed this movie though it was a bit sad. I will also say there is not much skating in it. Some of it was filmed in hawaii any "Lostie" will recognize the location.

I have been wanting to watch this film for quite some time... I am glad that I got to watch it and that I chose to rent rather than listening to the tomatometer. Thats why I am writing this! I felt like all of the characters were real. I really connected with the film and I think many people will be able to as well. The film was really about change and kind of the things that happen in life. The main character Richie goes through a series of hardship and is trying to figure out what to do with his life. I recommend this film for anyone who is feeling lost in life. Perhaps unsure or scared on what to do with the rest of your life or looking for a film that will touch your heart. Its a sad film but luckily it is also happy! I hope this was helpful and that you may enjoy the film!
