Description

Rock superstar Mick Jagger stars in a stunning reality/fantasy trip set in London's underworld. A criminal hides out at the residence of a bizarre rock star (Jagger) and his mysterious and beautiful companion (Anita Pallenberg, "Barbarella"). A gripping, psychological melodrama and cult favorite, with a fabulous soundtrack by Jack Nitzsche ("The Exorcist," "Stand By Me"), under the direction of Academy Award-winner Randy Newman ("Monsters Inc."), and of course the Stones.

of the period, with incredible, well, performances :) Glad to see the late Donald Cammell (who had a rather tragic life IIRC) is getting co-directing credit along with Nic Roeg. Not to be missed by film buffs.

Great, underrated masterpiece. James Fox went to a seminary for ten years after this film. Essential, important.
