Love this movie grown up watching it and I couldn’t stop watching it would ask my mom to play it over and over again alone with one other movie and that was never ending stories I so want to buy it right now that I am not sure one what I should do

This movie was straight garbage the big name movie stars couldn’t even save this junk to me it seems more like a b movie then a Hollywood movie the super girl tv show is way better than this movie

I was such a huge fan of superman growing up, and when this movie came out I loved it just as much! My uncle used to rent this for me on VHS (lol) and I would watch it over and over again until he had to return it!! Love love love!! 💗

This was one of my favorite childhood movies! Can’t believe I have it now on iTunes! Wish there was a HD version

also this movie had various versions. a tv edit, U.S. Theatrical version, and then a longer/fuller European cut. Which version is this?

Been a part of a superhero family this movie is the greatest think I ever seem

As much as we all would love to give this a fake 5 stars, the truth of the matter is that this was not the movie audiences wanted. Supergirl stirred a bit of ridicule due to the poor script & irrespective of the superb cast only fronted this movie to be ill-fated. Contradiction of Kryptonians/Argonians not knowin what a tree is to a witch wanting to conveniently take over the world made a bad script even worse. Still, this movie posed an impressive budget for its time. The cast were a nice addition including Helen Slater's great performance & Goldsmith's unforgettable score. All this added to a semi decent movie which has sadly gotten old very quickly with time. For a retropective fan, watching Supergirl will probably prove to be a must but rent first if you are watching for the first time.

I have not seen this movie in years! Glad Itunes has it. I use to love SuperGirl, though I loved SuperMan more. SuperGirl is a cute super hero movie who finds out she has powers and saves the world from the forces of evil. The mini skirt and blond hair of SuperGirl reminded me of Serena as Sailor Moon back in the 90s! Great series of heroes. If you are a female fan, this is the movie for you! Move over Sailor Moon, SuperGirl was here first! ^_^
