Description

Grammy Award-winner and rock legend Bob Dylan stars in this hard-driving "A Star is Born"-like, music-infused film about a striving musician (real-life pop star Fiona) drawn into the raw-edged lifestyle of fast-lane rock 'n roll -- and torn between two men and the different ways of life they represent. Written by Joe Eszterhas ("Basic Instinct," "Flashdance") and co-starring Golden Globe-nominee Rupert Everett ("My Best Friends Wedding"), this features appearances by Ron Wood (The Rolling Stones), Richie Havens, Ian Dury and Terry Williams (Dire Straits), with rockin' soundtrack written by Dylan, Neil Young and John Fogerty.

It is a lovely movie with a beautiful message about what really matters in life. A must for any Dylan's fan.

At first I wasn't sure how good this movie was going to be because I've read plenty of reviews saying how cheesy and horrible it was. But on the other hand I'm a huge Dylan fan and thought I'd check it out anyways and loved it!

Cheesy movie that's badly written and badly acted by Dylan. But he songs a song at the end that makes it all worth it. And the three leads have real charm - if not much chemistry together. Four stars for glorious cheese factor. This one is a rare time capsule.

This film is "Top Shelf Cheese" at it's best. It's fun to watch Bob act. He's so cool. How can anyone say anything bad about Bob? If you don't care for this film, you're missing something. It takes a lot of work to make a film. I say "Watch it."
