Description

The Dakota Territories 1879. A handful of brave pioneers maintain isolated settlements in the badlands beyond civilization. Irish immigrant Fergus Coffey is near to winning the hand of his beloved Maryanne when she is suddenly taken from him, her family brutally abducted in a nighttime attack on their homestead. Suspicion falls immediately on hostile Indians. Experienced Indian fighters Will Parcher and John Clay form a posse and set out to rescue the kidnapped settlers. But as men vanish in the night, and horrific evidence accumulates with the dead and dying, the group discovers that their prey is far more terrifying than anything human, and their prospects are far more terrible than death.

Not bad but not good either, if some of your peers call you stupid, you might enjoy this film a whole lot. LOL! 3 stars cause I like period flicks and it had solid acting.

I was surprised at the good quality of a film I'd never heard of. The story starts off with a lot of promise, but then took way to long to develop. This is a "monster" movie that's barely an hour and a half long and we don't even get to the monsters until the last 30 minutes! Bottom line is good concept, decent cast, poor writing.

This movie is listed under "Western" BUT after watching the preview, I think it would fit better under "Horror". Sorry if this is not being true to your rating system, but the Preview sorta freaked me out. It is that creepy.

The concept of western/horror and the cover art really put me off. But finding out it was a creature feature made me give it a try. Surprisingly enjoyable and different. Definitely worth a watch.

This movie is the greatest accomplishment in movie making. Two thumbs up. Rent it, buy it, do whatever just watch the movie.

Upon the first few minutes of this movie I was hooked! Not your avereage movie more sci-fi than horror I thought. But good none the less. If you like the Aliens series you'll be a fan of this movie. It was kinda gritty in some parts. But, I likey anyway. Grab a bowl of popcorn, a warm blanket and hunker down for a western you sure not to forget.

This movie wasn't too bad... It did look way better, cooler, other in the trailer so I was kinda disappointed when I saw it. the subject matter was just too flat and the characters were too unconvincing. I think I give this one three stars.

I'm sure a lot of hard work went into making this film, but it fails to inspire me to call it more than a mediocre achievement. Individual acting was mixed. Clancy Brown gave a strong performance, as usual. I did not find it too scary or suspenseful. Something to watch, if you're bored.
