Also starring Emmy and Golden Globe-nominee Robin Wright Penn ("Unbreakable," "Forrest Gump"), Oscar and Golden Globe-winner Renee Zellweger ("Cold Mountain," "Chicago"), Emmy and Golden Globe-nominee Noah Wyle ("Enough," TV's "ER"), Taryn Manning ("Crossroads," "Crazy/Beautiful"), Patrick Fugit ("Almost Famous"), Billy Connolly ("Indecent Proposal") and produced by John Wells (TV's "The West Wing," "ER"). I liked it, the first 30 minutes was just as I'd hoped. But then, characters were excluded from the movie including Marvel, Olivia, and even Amelia. They even changed a character's name! Also, Ingrid was supposed to get out of jail without Astrid's help and Claire was supposed to talk about suicide with Astrid. If you haven't, read the book!

Just watched this for the first time and I am blown away. I myself am an artist and can fully relate to this film. The acting is remarkable as well as the cinematography and music. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Thank you so much! I've been waiting for this movie! This is sad and depressing but it's a very well done movie! The book is good too! Michelle is umbelievable. Her acting is so believable and good! I'm suprised she wasn't nominated for an Oscar for this role. She deserved one. I'm a Michelle Pfeiffer fan and this was one of the best performances ever done! The rest of the cast is very good as well. Alison Lohman played Astrid very well. This movie stayed really close to the book! Read the book and then watch the movie! Both are A +!!!!

Great acting by Lohman. Zellweger has a smaller role but she adds just enough to shine. Very moving.

This movie has to be one of the best films I have ever seen. It goes further than any movie like it. The retrospective tone and the moving plot captures and enraptures the viewer. I would recommend this movie in a heartbeat to anyone.
