Description

Tony Jaa, the fighting superstar “destined for film’s martial arts pantheon,” (New York Daily News) electrifies as a religious young warrior who swears an oath of peace. But when a gangster steals the head of Ong-Bak, his village’s deity, Ting heads for Bangkok to get it back. In a film Time magazine calls “exhilarating” with relentless, fever-pitched action free of stunt doubles and special effects, Jaa performs some of the most awesome physical feats ever seen on film.

NOT IN HD - If you think you're getting a better version than what you can see on Netflix, then don't rent/buy this. The quality of the movie is exactly the same.

i gave this one star ONLY because it is no longer an option to watch it in it's original thai or dubbed in english like when i bought it in 2008. that being said this is a great movie if you can find the subbed version i encourage you to watch it. watching it in thai really adds to the movie

When I watch foreign films, I like watching them in the original language with subtitles. But no. This is a DUBBED version. Crap. Don’t waste your money. I’m sure it’s a good movie. Thanks, iTunes, for making me waste money on a movie I thought was in the original language.

I think this is the best one out of the three. However, having said that, I was very disappointed to see that this is the dubbed English version. Apple needs to take this one down and upload the Thai version, with English subtitles, like the other two.

Fortunately I read the reviews and found this is another ignorant iTunes dub version. Have some respect for other cultures. Disgusting.

This movie and the rest of the series is action packed with and adventure tongs friend hum lae or in Thai black balls which I am Thai myself and this movie has action pact fighting and good timing and stunts its worth watching over and over again to me but they could have left it original sound and language but with subtitles.

If I only knew that my only option was an English Dubbed version of this movie I would have not purchased it. I guess it is my fault for assuming that this Thai movie would at least have the option of being watched in Thai. I'm sure this is a great movie, unfortunately I will not be finding out anytime soon. I'd rather throw more of my money in the garbage then sit through an hour and forty-five minutes of dubbed English. This bad review is not towards the movie this bad review is to iTunes.

Every once in a while you need to watch one of these movies - don't look for any Academy Awards, but the storyline is O.K. with some great fighting scenes.

This is a great movie, but it deserves to be watched in HD. I've bought two sequels in HD, so will wait it too.
