The Rocker

This movie is not only hilarious but inspiring and it has a great soundtrack as well I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good comedy.

In rebuttal to a few of the narcoleptic reviewers. People, like myself who lived out their teens in the Eighties are not Boomers. The guy who talks about not knowing how to direct, I would believe that in his own lack of skills not Director of The Rocker, Peter Cattaneo (Full Monty) he would be justified. I work in the Motion Picture industry, and Peter Cattaneo does an admirable job on this movie. Rain Wilson (80's Rocker 'Fish' going through a midlife crisis)) is great and so are the other teen actors. The great thing about this movie is it is Family Friendly (besides a butt shot and a whispered J.C word), but keeps a sharp edge to the humor and drama all the way through. Has a great moral, but doesn't come off as being sappy because ultimately it is a success story one that makes you fall in love with the characters, as well as the story.

It looks pretty funny I wonder if worth watching it though

Halfhearted directing, weak acting, unrelatable characters and an awful story. If you're smart enough to read iTunes reviews before renting a film, you're too smart for this one. I'm going to track down Rainn Wilson at a Coffee Bean and ask for my $3 back. I didn't even make it halfway through this thing.
