Do not rent this movie. It is no where near as good as the original. Definitely a rushed sequel to milk more money from people. The songs lack any effort with lyrics such as "Care-a-lot we care a lot". Too bad they couldn't afford Carole King again. And the story line completely disregards the original canon. Not to mention it doesn't follow a linear timeline with the same kids interacting with Care Bears when they're cubs and again as grown up bears, but the kids are still the same age. Just plain unimaginative and a slap in the face to the original film and to true fans of Care Bears around the world.

Great stuff here for all ages and generations.. The music is what really sticks out from this movie.. You'll find yourself singing them long after the film is over.. Talk about a classic for the entire family.. If you have kids this is a must have.. Enjoy!

I absolutely love this movie. When I was younger I always watched this movie. Now I am 15, and I still watch this movie. It's my favorite. My favorite care bear is True Heart Bear :)

This gave my innocent little girl nightmares for a week because of the scary evil dragon with glowing red eyes!!! We turned it off less than five minutes after we started it. Buy something else!

I loved care bears, as a child, and I was excited to show my son something that I grew up with in hopes that one day he will do the same with a child of his own, one day. He loved the movie soo much I've had to download it to my iPhone so he can watch it whenever he wants. It's a great movie that can be shared from generation to generation and there were great action scenes that kept my little boy interested throughout the entire movie!
  • A bit scary!

This movie was recommended for 2-4 yr-olds. However, there are some very scary, evil parts. Right from the beginning a large evil dragon with red eyes is attacking the Care Bears. "Dragonheart" is an evil presence with evil red eyes that the camera focuses on. The movie is cute with a good message, but these evil scenes were too scary for my little ones.
  • Not just for kids

I grew up with the Care Bears movies and tv show, and I still love it today. It teaches kids to be good, and that doing bad things hurts others. It also teaches you to share your feelings and be friends with others. Care Bears has always had a good message, and the songs in this are wonderful. One of the main reasons I liked this movie so much was for the songs. Now all itunes needs is to get the first Care Bears movie on here! Also, if you write this off as just being another cartoon for "kids", you're cheating yourself out of a good movie, and probably missing out on a lot of others.
