    I enjoy everything Batman related. Even if it's not a great movie/show I can still get entertainment value from it. That is not the case here. After forcing myself to watch the first half I was yearning for it to be over. The individual stories are so differnet (the suit itself has as many variatinos as stories) that there is no continuity. Rather, this movie comes across as multiple short, short stories that lead no where. Personally, this is something you watch on Netflix as background noise when you're doing soemthing else. I'll stick to Under the Red Hood, The Dark Knight Returns, and the Killing Joke.

    I just could not get into it. I really liked Under the Red Hood and the animated series when I was in Junior High, but this was too much anime.

    Does justice to the mortal god that Batman has become. I especially liked the anime feature and think they must explore Batman stories more in the anime style. But each piece is brilliant in its own way, the weakest one (relatively speaking) being the first story.

    Animation: 4/10 i understand that the animation is all in an anime format but its poorly done and very lifeless Voice acting: 8/10 the one thing you can expect from a DComics animated movie is great voice talent. While its not as good as some other animated movies theres not much to complain about Storyline: 3/10 i was throughly dissapointed with these short stories, most of them are rushed or feel unfinished due to their length. The onlt exception is the story "Deadshot" which is quite exciting My verdict: 4/10 a new low for DComics animated films and a sunny day in Gotham (which is bad, Gotham is suppose to be rainy)

    This is an excellent, artistic, deliciously dark and thrilling ride that takes us from the beginnings of Nolan's first film until we arrive at a prequel that doesn't try to copy the work of either of the real movies. It's anime goes perfectly with Batman's style, with villain designs that fit perfectly with the new higher quality demands of such a series. Kevin Konroy does a solid job voicing Batman in what might have been one oft personal favorite films of his to date. He does not try to be Bale but keeps the character of the Batman alive and well.
