This is probably one of my favorite horror films. There is some surprise and the plot is great with a pleasing ending. It’s got the slight “cheesiness” of most classic horror films, but that keeps it from scaring me out of my wits. Love it. Definitely one of the classical greats!
Best Vincent Price Movie

I first watched this on Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive-In in September 2010. I was 13 and I had seen many horror movies by then, but I had no idea of how this movie was going to be. I ended up being very creeped out by it. It was unusual because horror movies don't freak me out like that. Besides that, though, it's a great movie and it's also one of my favorites.

Vincent Price has done it again. His horror films are awesome and so is this one. The story is basically given in the iTunes description, but there is something I must point out. All of the things you would see in TV shows that depict spooky stuff........I think you should know this film is where they got it all from. If you want a good spooky time on Halloween or just want to watch a great B-grade chiller, then check it out. Now, if you are expecting me to give my opinion on the remake......don't. I will review it if I ever bother to see it. Okay?

my dad showed me this movie when i was 5. his reason was the he saw it when it 1st came out, and he was 5 at the time. but the point is that this is the movie that got me into horror films and i will always love it!

This is probably one of my favorite films of all time! Vincent Price is just phenomenally creepy (and hot). This movie is so laughable but so wonderfully scary and clever at the same time. I got it for free and took a chance on it and fell in love with this movie. I reccomend it to anyone who can really appreciate a good old movie. William Castle is a genius.

Vincent Price stars as an owner in a haunted mansion. He invites guests over to his mansion. He will also give $10,000 for anyone dumb enough to spend the night in his mansion. By the way, the doors are locked at midnight. I didn't like the ending. I wish they told me what the ending was.
