Description

Now there's even more laughter to be had in this special uncut version of Grandma's Boy! From Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions comes this raucously funny comedy that'll have you rolling with laughter! Life is sweet for 35-year-old video game tester Alex (Allen Covert), until he's forced to move in with his overbearing grandmother Lilly (Doris Roberts) and her two roommates: oversexed Grace (Shirley Jones) and overmedicated Bea (Shirley Knight). To save face with his much younger co-workers and super-sexy new boss (Linda Cardellini), Alex brags about the "three hot babes" living with him, but soon that cat's out of the bag and the real party at Grandma's house has just begun!

This movie is pure genius! To me Dante steals it all with his actions and words especially when he gets the Lion. Watch it, you won’t regret it

One of the greatest movies of all time. Not because it's got an insightful story with lots of inspirational quotes... but because it's just damned FUNNY! It's a little bit "every man tale", "silly comedy", "bizarre characters", with a good helping of "relatable shenanigans". Technically, yes, it is a "Stoner Comedy". But that is just part of the many sub-plots(which, while many, are scattered about and not TOO deep). There is the R rated theatrical version, and the Unrated "Director's Cut". While the theatrical version IS funny, the Unrated version adds a few scenes that will leave you on the floor struggling to breathe. It's not that I don't have a sense of humour(I have quite a nasty one, to be honest), but I can watch damned near ANY comedy movie without changing expression(don't judge me, I've been through a lot). This is one of the few movies that makes me smile, and even outright laugh beyond my ability to control. While you won't find dramatic acting worthy of an Academy Award, you WILL find lighthearted fun with characters that you can believe exist in the real world. In that regard, the film is brilliantly cast. Adam Sandler is "hit and miss" with me as an actor, but because he stayed behind the camera in some capacity for this one, it is my personal favorite of any movie he's ever been involved in. At it's heart, Grandma's Boy is a silly comedy with relatable characters and believable situations. Always a pleasure to watch no matter how many times I've seen it.

Another great comedy that the critics dont get. This movie is as quoteable as Super Troopers. Grandma's Boy hit my local blockbuster when i was in 8th grade and it will live up at the top ranks of the stoner comedys out there. This move is even more relevant in 2019. Gaming is way more mainstream and important to the younger generations now and so is marijuanna. Honestly the last time i was ABLE to get as high as the characters do in the movie, it was probably 2006 and i was 14.
  • Watch this when you’re high.
