Awesome movie! Good messaging in film as well! Finding the line between right and wrong, and another good cast of actors. Lots of action also! Highly recommend!

  • Most Underrated Spider-Man Sequel Of The Sam Raimi Trilogy

“Spider-Man 3” may be the most underrated “Spider-Man” sequel in the Sam Raimi trilogy due to the lower critical reception than its predecessors, but the movie does at least make up for it by having the highest box office reception of the entire trilogy. Though the originally planned 4th “Spider-Man” movie was canceled due to the lower critical reception of this sequel, “Spider-Man 3” deserves just as much recognition as its predecessors. In short, I love “Spider-Man 3”. Plus, it takes the level of dark moments higher than “Spider-Man 2”.

It is 2006. I was watching Monster House on DVD for the first time, and the teaser trailer for Spider-Man 3 played, and I was really excited, because I loved Spider-Man, and I watched the first two. It is February 2007, I was watching Ghost Rider in theaters, the new trailer for Spider-Man 3 played, I got excited once again. The day came, it is May 4, 2007, Spider-Man 3 premiered. I loved it, and saw it in theaters a few more times. Ever since this movie came out, I loved it. I loved it more than the first two. Ten years later, the Editor’s Cut is released, but it didn’t have much unseen footage, so this wasn’t enough for me. Four years later, the truth about the movie is revealed. I discovered there is an original version of the movie that was intended to be released, the script was so dark that Avi Arad had to tone down the movie and reshoot mostly of it, and include the infamous Emo Peter montage in the theatrical cut, and change Venom from this awesome animatronic to this weird-looking version of him. So far we have two cuts and one that needs to be released, and this unseen cut needs to be shown in the light of day, like what we’re doing with the Ayer Cut of Suicide Squad. Also, this third cut of the movie, which is now called the Raimi Cut, has a runtime of 3 hours, and I would sit through three hours of a movie, like LotR, and BvS UE, and especially ZSJL. In October on a Friday, I was doing college stuff, and out of nowhere, Spider-Man 3 is playing in my head and I shook my head to make it stop and it did. At night, I was watching video essays on the movie, and everyone on the video said they loved the movie, and I realized “What have I done??? What did I do??? What was I doing in 14 years of my life???”. I saw the budget is so expensive they threw away all of the scenes in the movie to replace what was given to the public. Back then, I looked at reviews of the movie, and said the first two are better than the third one. So, here I am now, I finally woke up to see what happened. I made a redemption on this movie. I agree with everyone else, the first two ARE better than the theatrical cut of the third one. I don’t know why they choose to cut down from 3 hours to 139 minutes. They should’ve made this movie 2 and a half hours. And I’m not exactly sure why they didn’t release the Editor’s Cut the same time when the theatrical cut is released on DVD in the first place. And I would love to see the 3 hour Director’s Cut of Spider-Man 3. It’s not the cut we want, it’s the cut we need, and must be seen the light of day. #ReleaseTheRaimiCut
  • Entertaining but too many villains.

The movie is good until the third villain is introduced. It felt forced. Ruins the atmosphere of the movie. Very unnecessary. Should’ve just stuck with Sandman and Harry. Still better than the Disney Spidey movies.

Spider-Man 3 is the most amazing MARVEL movie ever! My favorite scene was that Spidey had to save Gwen Stacy. In the movie, Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) decided to marry Mary Jane Watson (Kristen Dunst). But Peter's problems had other ideas in mind! I like Maguire when he's a God created to be unique-type of guy. Not a very rude one. Though, James Arnold Taylor should've voiced the enemy within Peter.
  • It’s okay.

Venom was cool, as well as the story. Hobgoblin was cool too; at least in the beginning. Sandman was boring though. There were some minor problems I had with the movie. It’s better than watching🥴 the MCU Spider-Man.
  • This Totally DESTROYED Spider-man!

Spider-man 3 totally DESTROYED EVERYTHING that made Spider-man great!, which was entirely that SPARKLY LOVE-Story between Peter Parker/Spider-man & Mary-Jane! By DESTROYING that LOVE of Peter & Mary-Jane (Kirsten), the writers dead-ended the whole MEANING & PURPOSE of the Spider-man love-story! A movie without a FAIRYTALE ENDING!, is always a DISASTER.!!!.
