From IMDB, "Nick Powell is an excellent high-school student who raises money by selling homework and results of quizzes to his schoolmates. He aims to travel to London for a writer's course - telling his best friend, Pete Egan, that he has already bought the airplane ticket but he has not told his mother yet. Annie Newton has a problem with Pete, who owes her money. As events unfold, due to a case of mistaken identity, Nick takes a severe beating from Annie and her gang, his body dumped in a sewer. The next morning, he discovers he cannot be seen - he is now a spirit in a state of limbo and can only observe as the events of that day unfold."

THIS MOVIE IS BASED OFF OF A BOOK!! Mats Wahl's 'The Invisible" I enjoyed reading the book, and I enjoyed the movie. But as with most books turned screen play.. its never quite as good. I appreciate this movie because I read the novel. The critics of Rotten Tomatoes that rated this film gave zero acknowledgement to the novel it was stemmed from. You can't call it "a terrible story line" without realizing you are also criticizing the story line of a novel. Just dig a little deeper.

Now if only Itunes would keep this movie in my library instead of having to buy it over and over again. Great movie with a great story plot. I would recommend this movie over and over again! It never gets old, and the music goes great with the plot.

The Invisible is a film that I remember being advertised 9 years ago but I hadn't viewed it until now ( 2015 ) From a technical stand point I will say that it could have been edited better and some of the performances could have been handled by the director a little bit better but beneath all that is a great tale of redemption. What the film does really well is it lets you walk in the shoes of its characters and relate to them rather than judge them. You observe how and why their lost and what it takes to be found. This film isn't perfect but it's got a good heart and good visual style.
