This could not match the first one; however, there were some funny movies that were heartfelt.

I'm watching this one right now on TV, it's not as good as the first one for sure! The plot is kind of stupid now, so I would recommend the first one only, but if you must must MUST see this one, I would definitely suggest writing to iTunes or just waiting for this one to be available to rent! And steer clear of Legally Blondes, it is absolutely terrible and there is no point of watching it since none of the original cast is in it and it is set in a totally different location!

A great follow up to the first one. There's this internal logic inside every woman's head that... if just given a chance to be followed, will make everyone happy. There's a way to take things seriously without turning the world into a fixed reality of black and white... it can be fun and full of color. Why is color something we look down on and consider childish? I think there's more wisdom in being able to look at a grim reality and make it engaging. And it made me miss wearing pink... it's so easy these days to dress a certain way to project a certain image... you end up being something you are not, in order to prove a point - that you are capable of being a certain way, that you are worthy and deserving of people's attention and approval. No one ever sits you down and says, hey, if you dress the way you want, you will act the way you should, and people will like you just the way you are. It's more important to learn to get comfortable in our skin, so we can use our voice to try to say what we really mean. We're so far away from that, it ends up taking practice to be ourselves.

Legally Blonde was my favorite guilty pleasure specifically because the character Elle, while being called dumb throughout the entire movie, actually showed at the end just how clever she really was. This movie actually dumbs her down even more, with no great moment of ultimate epiphany like the first one. She's dumb, her co-stars are even dumber, and the villain is so wooden that she'd make a block of wood seem interesting. Plus this movie has nothing to do with the legal system after the first 15 minutes and just tries to show how corruption runs rampant in the federal legislature. If I wanted to watch a movie on American politics I'd rent "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington," not this crap.
