Description

Dumb Money is the ultimate David vs. Goliath tale, based on the insane true story of everyday people who flipped the script on Wall Street and got rich by turning GameStop (yes, the mall video game store) into the world's hottest company. In the middle of everything is regular guy Keith Gill (Paul Dano), who starts it all by sinking his life savings into the stock and posting about it. When his social posts start blowing up, so does his life and the lives of everyone following him. As a stock tip becomes a movement, everyone gets rich – until the billionaires fight back, and both sides find their worlds turned upside down.

  • Terrible, Terrible!

This is an interseting story but the people who made the movie ignored the interesting details. Actors were not good, story not good & having dancers pop up with vulgar lyrics did not add anything. If you want to see a good movie about stocks, see The Big Short. So-o-o much better in every way.

I’ve watched this movie at least 6 times since it was released. The whole cast was amazing. While the pandemic was still only a few years ago, the film does a great job of bringing you back to the world of masks, the feelings of actually talking face to face with people, and also the losses people had in their lives and looking for a win and an escape from pandemic life, looking for a win and feeling a connection to someone and something.

Every other scene was a horrible song being played. it was so annoying that I couldn’t even finish the movie.

This movie was extremely vulgar and repulsive. I only made it 10 minutes in and decided to turn it of because of how explicit and vulgar it was. If I could rate this film ZERO stars I would. Highly recommend not wasting your time. I want a refund asap!

Funny, insightful, and filled with an incredible array of familiar and hilarious faces, the director takes an extremely serious and dense subject and makes one of the most impressive and unexpected films of 2023. Rent it, see it, own it immediately.

I had such high hopes for this movie, It seemed interesting but was a complete let down. The soundtrack music is horrible and the Audio to the film is so low that when you turn it up to hear it, it suddenly blast into " Wet P@$$y" and other thuggin it music that is more irrattating then story driven. I turned it off 30 minutes into the film it got so bad.

This movie is a amazing story with even better acting, the only thing worth complying would be the songs used yet the story is about every day people so the songs are about every day songs that people listen to I love this movie and I’m exited to watch it over and over lol

Simple but great movie based on the true story of research and conviction of one analyst who held the line, proving strength of the masses to influence markets. Power of the small retail investors can no longer be ignored in the age of social media. Diamond hands, baby! 💎👏
