  • New cornfield cult classic

Had the pleasure of seeing the debut at the Twin Cities Film Festival, where it won the coveted Audience Choice Award. This honor was well deserved. This haunting modern-day tale follows the story of a mother and son who return to a small rural village, only to discover that a sinister cult is secretly running the town. The acting in this film is superb, particularly from the two lead actors who play the mother and son. The cinematography is also top-notch, with stunning shots of the cornfields and the surrounding countryside. You can feel the director's hand guiding you through the story, leading you deeper and deeper into the heart of the cult's darkness. But what really sets "Sins of the Father" apart from other thrillers is the way it tackles bigger themes. It's not just a movie about a mother and son fighting for their lives against a group of cultists. It's a movie about the dangers of blind faith and the lengths people will go to in order to hold onto their beliefs. It's a movie about the power of community, both for good and for evil.
