Gasoline Alley

I’m sorry. I wanted to love this movie. As a Tifton resident , I was super excited. It’s horrible.

Cinematography was interesting, some good artsy shots. Slow movie but on purpose. The story was pretty predictable halfway through. The last quarter of the movie was rushed and there were inconsistencies towards the end, which were super annoying. The end scenes pretty much concluded the story but was badly shot and edited. This could’ve been ok, but man, that last quarter of the movie really was rushed. Just bad. Bleh.

Bruce Willis is putting out a movie every week. Good lord he must be at it day and night. I’m just making an observation. I don’t watch Willis movies anymore. But crazy hundred movies Bruce.

I learned my lesson from other recent Bruce Willis movies. This one’s another bad one. They’re all awful because they spend half the movie budget on Bruce Willis and they typically cram all his scene into one or two days of shooting to make it affordable. End result is a bad story, bad acting, bad effects, and bad movie overall.

Gasoline Alley is the best movie I’ve seen this year. Smart choices all around for the casting and direction. Luke Wilson and Devon Sawa are action movie stars with terrific chemistry. If you like L.A. Confidential, Nightcrawler, Prisoners, or Sicario, you’ll like Gasoline Alley.

It’s well-known that Bruce Willis, is no longer making watchable movies, for whatever reason. This movie was atrocity in comparison to his earlier years in the movies. The plot was horrible, the actors involved, were beyond bad. There’s no love for this movie at all. Can I get my $6.00 rental fee back

A gem of a film. More of a thriller than action but the finale did not disappoint. Devon was the star of the film and I hope her gets a John Wick action franchise soon.

Great movie.
