Two childhood friends get revenge on their abusers. One young woman was kidnapped and tormented as a child, while the friend was also a victm of child abuse. Remake of the 2008 French film directed by Pascal Laugier.

I first saw this movie years ago and I have never have been so disturbed by a horror movie in my life! A girl who was brutally abused as a child kills members of a family who she believed was responsible for her torture and attempts to save a woman who was held captive in an underground bunker below the family’s house. The girl Anna is then taken hostage by members of a cult organization. 2 of them take over the home and physically beat, abuse, force feed and torture her all through the rest of the movie (I later found out that a supposed cousin of mine who I have never met played one of the cult members who torture Anna) until she is skinned alive. Unbelievably disturbing.
