It was a really fun movie to watch. I enjoyed the drama of the story so much, as a Floridian who experienced hurricane2018, it reminded me of a very familiar scene of the time. All the characters are well-drawn, especially the “grandpa”. It touched on some serious topic with great humor. Professional performing, filming and lighting. Highly recommended.

Beautifully told story with endearing characters. Loved the witty dialogue throughout this film. This film tackled some complex issues with just the right balance of seriousness and humor. Heartwarming to see this estranged family come together under difficult circumstances. If you like relationship dramas, you will really enjoy ‘Because of Charley’.

Absolutely wonderful film.. Once again two creative forces create a wonderful story. Families and Hurricanes; pretty much the same when all is said and done when all the forces align. I felt so much a part of the story... The actors made you feel a part of the family and how we are all the same. Thank you Jon and Steve for capturing a moment in time.
Ashley Jones is phenomenal!

I loved this movie! The witty banter between characters had me laughing the whole way through. Ashley Jones was the perfect Jesse and the movie wouldn’t have been the same without her energy. 5 stars Ashley!

Love John Amos, and having lived through Charley - it’s a great backdrop to tell a family’s personal perspective through the eye of a hurricane.
Looking forward to the release!
