Pearl was written in such a thought provoking way and directed equally as thought provoking. Each portrayal of each character initiated emotion. That is an art form and a beautiful foundation to a well made film if you ask me. Add to that the attention to detail to each scene shot and how it was all pulled together to tell a story so profound is honestly quietly brilliant and the plot pulls the viewer in - in such an unusual way. I love this movie... the characters have great depth and the actors were superb. The camera always seemed to be in the right place at the right time.

Pearl is a movie about a girl suffering through profound trauma and her father, a lost soul who didn’t know he needed his life to be saved. It’s a very emotional film with great performances from the lead actors.
