Description

Jeff (Danny Pudi) and Sarah (Emily Chang) are struggling to come to an agreement about having a baby. Jeff wants to be a father eventually, but is afraid to lock himself into his current job situation. Meanwhile Sarah, nearing 35, feels her biological clock ticking and is impatient to start trying. Their mutual friends Don (Eddie Alfano) and Taylor (Maiara Walsh) have the opposite problem. Don has a successful business and is ready to be a dad, but Taylor, an aspiring dancer, is worried that the toll on her body and career will be too much. When the two couples hatch a plan to conceive and share one baby between them, it seems like they may have found the perfect compromise — until things spiral out of control.

5 stars should be reserved for great movies. One review said “funniest movie since Neighbors and Hangover.” Not even close!! It had a couple funny parts, but that is simply because you wanted it to be funny. The story line was interesting and had potential but little was done with the material. When it was over I asked my wife what she thought, she just looked at me and said “meh.” This movie benefits from the lack of new movies out there. Go in with low expectations and you might not be disappointed.

What a fun and unique concept for a film. Really enjoyed the story, it was very well directed, and the acting was great all around. So effortless. The subtle “slice of life” comedy was so good. Fun and easy to watch. Loved it.

A very funny and smart comedy with a premise I’ve never seen before. The cast is terrific. Loved the touching moments mixed with the more comedic ones.

Loved this movie - a real gem! Such a well-written, original premise that so many can relate to executed in a way that brings a lot of laughter, all while covering bigger topics and life choices like having a child, fertility, and family life. A wonderful cast with great character development. Great music to boot! Highly recommend, this is a must-see!

This movie is unusual. It addresses real life concerns about embarking on the journey of parenthood with characters that seem grounded and real, but find themselves in farcical situations that are belly-pain comical. It’s hilariously funny with a depth that makes for a wonderfully satisfying watch.
