Incredible....she had the power to intervene and nada...i thought s he was going to stop it under the pretense of a potential botching but no...the movie is slow and the ending well needless to say

Like others, I'll pipe in the performances and direction were excellent. This quiet story compresses itself so any diviation from flatline is powerful and intense. This viewer wanted more then a silent drive, in a front row seat to an execution. Cut. End.

This movie was so boring and pretentious that I kept falling asleep. I can appreciate slow-paced movies, but only if the characters, subject matter, and dialogue keep me engaged (I’m looking at you Rectify). However, I had little sympathy for the message or interest in the events as they unfolded. Fortunately, at the time of this review, Apple offered a free rental for this title. So for that I thank them. However, I’m thinking that Apple only did that due to the current climate. In my opinion, that action taints the movie’s purpose; using it as a ploy to align with certain political leanings. All-in-all, I wasn’t a fan of this film and don’t believe many other viewers will be either.

Riveting and powerful as a film. This film places you in the head of a warden who has to make a tough decision to either save a life or let the state decide.

Good actors and topic, but the movie was boring and dragged. I actually skipped ahead to finish it.

Truly boring. The other top ratings influenced my purchase, but they obviously didn’t fully watch the movie I’m thinking.

Brilliant acting and script
