Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire

I’m a huge fan of this series and this fell way short of fan expectations. It’s very slow moving, yet it feels like the picture was thrown together very quickly. For a trilogy that was supposed to wrap up lose ends, it’s left with more questions than answers and again I partially attribute that to it feeling hurried. I’ve really enjoyed the characters from the previous two films, however it was really difficult to find that connection with this pictures characters. I didn’t enjoy any of the new casts characters. Also the previous films stars I thought did a fairly good job of believability for their characters. I’m not saying they were up for an Oscar, but for a low budget, indie film it wasn’t bad. This third film was awful acting. It felt very high school play. This film had the opportunity to really finish strong and in a great way. To make it in my opinion one of the better trilogies out there. All it really did was take away from the first two films. If I could go back I would never have watched it because it’s ruined the series overall.
