Always A Bridesmaid explores how family bonds and enduring friendships help us to discover what it truly means to love.Corina James, is a neurotic, lovable, editor that has a passion for writing but her father has more serious plans for her lifewhich is to take on more responsibility at his company. Meanwhile, she is always the number one choice to be a bridesmaidin her family and friends’ weddings. She desperately wants to find love, or at least find out what it means to be in love. Aftera few bad dates and a meeting with her pastor, Corina decides to date her friend Mark. Things with Mark are going great,but Corina still feels that she isn’t worthy of love because she doesn't know what it is. When Mark proposes to Corina onher birthday, she goes on a rampage about how imperfect she is which leaves Mark feeling rejected. After realizing that loveisn’t perfect and can’t be planned, Corina goes to Mark and asks him for time. The two both realize that they have hadskewed views of love and vow never to get married until they are absolutely ready. Time will only tell if they will ever beready and if Corina will always be a bridesmaid.
