In 1949, way before he became chairman of the board, a faltering voice, failing marriage, and off-screen reputation left Frank Sinatra’s career in ruins. While pursuing the role of Angelo Maggio, a longshot to salvage his career, he falls in love with rising star Ava Gardner, and thus begins the multi-year tempestuous iconic relationship and marriage, culminating in Frank’s comeback and Oscar win in 1953.
