The Beach Bum is super haillrious and highly entertaining with Matthew McConaughey as the slacker stoner he is pretty nuts and awesome at the same time wow what a good ride man.

The well-written, thoughtful and intelligent reviews celebrate the unique experience this film provides, while the negative reviews are generally an eight-word-or-less 1st grade caliber declaration of how it's "the worst movie that’s ever been made, EVER.” If you're feeling frustrated because you don't understand something, keep your "reviews" to yourself and get bent.

The movie made no sense the name of the movie matches the movie. It was a bum...! I thought it was going to be good because the headline actor. But I was wrong... I was trying to keep up with it but then I said to myself all I did was waste time watching it. Disappointed in this movie. I’m glad I did not buy it.

So close to Spring Breakers,& yet soooo far. Good acting, good writing, but poor, poor execution of storytelling,& thus the messages were lost. Something that could have been as powerful as the Wolf of Wall Street flopped like a wet towel at a boxing match. No winners in this game. Save your money.

This movie is so bad I can't believe I wasted the time to watch it. From this point on when someone tells me they have seen the worse movie my question will be worse than beach bum?

yes, it is really that bad. it's tied with Waterworld for worst movie ever! $5.99 rental cost is not a comedy. the ONLY funny scenes in this movie are those with Martin Lawrence as the Dolphin Tours boat captain - about 10 mins. McConauhey has hit bottom.

I couldn’t stand this movie and I love Matthew & Isla, but this was just too much. I wish I didn’t even have to give it one star
