Description

When James proposes to his college sweetheart Melissa it sends their recently broken-up best friends, Ben and Rachel, on a tailspin of internet dates. However, when Ben and Rachel tell the newly engaged couple about their dating app escapades it only makes James and Melissa begin to doubt their own relationship and wonder whether they're missing out on all the fun. To quell their curiosity and see what all the fuss is about Melissa and James decide to make Tinder profiles together late one night. Soon, a fun joke turns sour when long held insecurities and tensions begin to surface in this ensemble comedy that explores love and dating in the digital age.

I was surprised at how much this fun movie left me smiling. Though my days of dating like this were long ago and much different, I enjoyed sharing the ups and downs of the characters. Worth the time and smiles it will bring.

It's hard to find someone who is <30 who has not used one of the many dating apps, or is currently using one. I think this movie stays really true to the different type of people navigating dating. I would highly reccomend this movie if you want a laugh, but also want to have a nice think even after the movie has finished.

Like a Woody Allen movie when he was in his prime. Saw it at a festival. Definitely deserved to win all those awards. Anybody who's tried online dating (or just lived through their twenties) will undoubtably appreciate this gem.
