Worst movie ever!!!! I don’t like how it is. It has an weird start I don’t know how to explain it but the director should have made a different one.
  • Not very believable.

If they would have at least showed a time-lapse from afar of him doing the actual climb, it would have been believable. That's all I wanted.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️for Alex. MINUS⭐️⭐️⭐️for her. Being a members of the crew, she is JUST as intrusive, distracting, and needy, as she came off in the film. Alex has had 2 accidents DIRECTLY due to her. The best thing he can do for himself is DUMP HER! Move onto someone more stable...

For me this was heart pounding to watch. I have a fear of heights. Even though I knew he would make it, I never stopped fearing him to fall. Talk about jump scares!! I needed ropes to keep me in my seat. I don’t know why he does it, but he has something most of us don’t.

Very well done documentary. Absolutely loved it. My only regret is I did not see it on the big screen.

Not only is Alex’s feat undeniably incredible, the filmmaking in this documentary is very good, and a marvel in its own right. There were guys climbing the wall simultaneously with Alex, all while shooting this project and managing to not die or cause Alex to die. Impressive. Minimal use of motion graphics- looked great but not overused. The buildup to the climb was very well crafted. Not much negative to say; maybe a couple wobbly shots, seemingly from something like rolling shutter. Chin also heavily employed the “hold the shot on someone after they say something remotely emotional, even if it wasn’t an emotional moment” method, but so does every other documentary on the planet.

This documentary is very well done. I’m so glad that the film makers took the time to reveal the human story behind this remarkable feat.
