Description

Keanu Reeves delivers the action in this thriller packed with pulse-pounding suspense. In Russia to sell rare jewels to a businessman with underworld connections, U.S. diamond merchant Lucas Hill (Reeves) falls into a torrid affair with Katya (Ana Ularu), a local café owner. When the deal suddenly goes south, Lucas and Katya are caught in a deadly crossfire between the buyer and Russian agents, as Lucas takes up arms in a furious fight to save Katya and himself.

    It is a completely false statement to say this is “action-packed” :( And if they did not deceptively put a little fight scene at the beginning, I would have bailed after 20 minutes. Boring, not interesting, poorly written, and anti-climatic! :(

    I thought at the beginning this will be a nice action packed movie. Just look at the movie cover and immediately the John Wick character comes to mind. But alas it’s not all he got is an old rifle to defend himself. Some streaming services offer this for free as such renting it makes it more painful.

    I generally like Keanu Reeves films but this is a very slow paced, drab, actionless film. It's the polar opposite of John Wick - so don't expect that.

    The plot was convincing for both the love story and for the crime, the pace was consistent with the theme, and the silence scenes between actors speak volume. It's great to see movie that does not have a central conflict being made. Kudos to the screen writer.

    This is truly a terrible movie. It is contrived, and very poorly executed. The story line is as implausible as it is worn out. The sex scenes were mechanical and poorly sold. The only intriguing this about this movie is that you will ask yourself, when it finally fizzles to a halt, why did I keep watching this piece of crap?

    I want my money back!!! What action did this movie deliver! Because i was bored the whole film. I found more action watching the Gilmore girls. It took me two days to finish it! Horrible, just horrible!

    Please don’t waste your money. Terrible movie. If you are intrigued as I was, wait for it to come out on Netflix. You will still still hate it it but will not be out 6.99 for a rental. Seemed like a good idea, but it was executed poorly.

    Even after the bad reviews, I took a chance. Bad decision. The movie was depressing, hurtful, stark, crude, heartbreaking, cruel to people and animals. There was so much Russian spoken that I had a problem following the plot.
