this movie was falsely advertised, it is not scary and is mor teeny-bop middle school drama with horrible acting than scary movie

The title alone reeks loser flick so I'm not wsting my money.l

It was decent, the whole storyline didn’t make much sense. If the demon possessed the mom, then how did it also possess the daughter..... but the ending....wasn’t expecting to see a hallway full of failed exorcisms the priest did....that was pretty crazy

I even tried viewing this film a second time just to be fair while only able to find it as painful to sit through as it was with the first viewing. I honestly don’t know how anyone could enjoy this film. The acting was awful, the effects were equally awful and the plot was just lacked any real direction, it was as if bits and pieces were removed from the film and the ending was just a joke. Overall, it has to be one of the most unoriginal possession films to date and even failed at hack attempts with the exorcist. It may even be worse than Devon Sawa’s ridiculously unconvincing role as an exorcist in the exorcism of Molly Hartley. Do not waste your time on this film. I have only been left with the feeling of being ripped off while also feeling the creators of this garbage should reimburse me.

The tagline "An exorcism unlike any other" and "Exorcist for a new generation" must have been written by someone who didn't actually see the movie or maybe only watched the previews. Along Came the Devil is weakly adapted and poorly executed story from "true events". There is barely even a plot - Along with the characters, the storyline is underdeveloped and ultimately fails at what could have concluded in true horror. There was potential for a compelling and creepy story about a girl, her family and their dark past, a hometown with a church and priest with secrets, and of course demonic possession... but the writer/director, the DeVan clan as it were, just didn't pull it off.

Great movie! Definitely recommend checking it out. Storyline was amazing and the actors were incredible!
