Description

What if most modern diseases are really just symptoms of the same problem? The Magic Pill follows doctors, patients, scientists, chefs, farmers and journalists from around the globe who are combating illness through a paradigm shift in eating. And this simple change – embracing fat as our main fuel – is showing profound promise in improving the health of people, animals and the planet. Since the beginning of time mankind has depended on a diet consisting largely of plant based foods, fats and proteins with little to no carbohydrates, The relatively recent shift in traditional eating habits has caused a major decline in health globally. The Magic Pill investigates the stories of several patients, many of them sufferers of chronic and severe medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes and cancer, detailing their incredible recovery after switching to a low carbohydrate, high fat diet.

  • Simply not true

nice try though... even the opening statement is completely false: mankind flourished on a diet with little to no carbs? Mankind flourished becasue once we settled down and started cultivating crops, we didn't have to hunt or gather berries as a means of sustenance. The main staple of the human diet back then? BREAD.... which, if I'm not mistaken, contains a few carbs....

As with all documentaries, there will be biased. However, this film does a great job of representing a high fat diet not simply from a dietary perspective but from natural and evolutionary ones as well.

I am 32 struggled with ADHD since I was a toddler and alocho,l despression, anxiety as an adult. 2 years ago quit drinking, 8 monthes ago went vegan, 6 months ago quit all the medication I was taking now I am 100% Keto after watching this flim. This with exercise I am noticing a dramatic improvement with my health and mental function. Thanks for creating this flim, I love the science behind non-medication alternatives. Too much of our society relies on drugs to cure everything when the real answer is to look at our past and what nature has to offer.

The Magic Pill confirmed what I have been reading over the past three years. It included clips from many of the authors impacting my lifestyle, from books like: Grain Brain, Wheat Belly and The Big Fat Surprise. I wish every student and all the adults in America would watch this film –– over and over –– then rise up and change.

This is an eye opener when it comes to the benefits of LCHF. Not just meant to make you thinner, but to heal many ailments.
