  • Roughly 60/40 split of PE2 reruns and new content

Pros: -40% new content was fantastic and maybe worth the $20? -BBC FINALLY provides SOME 4K content on the Apple TV4K. Cons: -Robert Redford is no substitute for David Attenborough. -Essentially we paid $20 to have the family make me fast forward through more than half the movie due to reruns.

I only took one star away from this excellent documentary, because the zebra jn the preview has horseshoes on. Is there a wandering blacksmit5h on the Serengetti providing this service? Tut Tut

I have Planet Earth II and most of BBC Earth's earlier releases. I wasn't disappointed with my purchase of Earth: Amazing Day. Wonderful cinematography and nice animal stories. Yes, it does use previously released footage, but in a new way which makes it more suitable for family viewing. Furthermore it has great narration by Robert Redford and a beautiful soundtrack. It's sort of a condensed "greatest hits" of earlier BBC Earth documentaries with some new things added. However, it didn't feel repetitious at all. A wonderful appreciation of the natural beauty and diversity found across our unique planet. Worth every penny in my opinion.
