Buster Keaton stars as a photographer who--in his hilariously disastrous attempts to win the heart of the girl he loves--lands a job shooting for the newsreels as The Cameraman. In a brave new world of amazing technology, transatlantic flights and independent-minded women, Buster (Keaton) falls, literally, for newsreel stenographer Sally Richards (Marceline Day). To impress her, the would-be hero takes a job as a cameraman. But everything goes wrong for Buster, even as he proves to be an unwilling daredevil hero--if always off-screen.
