I’ll never get that time back - it’s literally gone forever. Simply put - a feeble movie.
  • Drama, not thriller.

I actually liked this movie, and it's a great acting job done by William Fichtner. But its advertising is totally wrong - "Danger lives next door?" - ridiculous and so not-fitting to this movie. So I'm not surprised that some people are disappointed, having expected some kind of stalker thrill. This is totally different - a very subtle, well-done movie about a midlife crisis and all of its consequences.

Odd, slow - not a thriller. Don’t waste your money or time.

First of all, love William Fichtner, and the whole stoic character he plays. Otherwise, the film just doesn't work. The young neighbor husband is a douchebag, his wife a confused basketcase, Fichtner's wife quite frankly is an unsupportive B, and the son is dopey too. There is zero emotional support for Fichtner's character which leads him down the obsesive rabbit hole which makes the story an illogical mess. Super slow moving, and in real life the cops could have been called in the first ten minutes solving the whole problem which is your run-of-the-mill domestic violence.
  • Proof about the Critics

This poor and pathetic attempt at a movie just proves the Critics don't have a clue about a good movie if they ever saw one. They need to be fired, immediately. This movie is pitiful.

Loved the film although I suspect viewer must be midde-aged old fart like me to identify with motives and actions of main character.
